Does anyone else here take it personally when they have what's considered to be a successful meet but it isn't followed up with a verification?

I have met 3 people from here recently, none of whom have verified me. These weren't quick, gone in 60 seconds meets and I thought each one was a great success.

Should it bother me? Is not leaving a verification for people who are already verified, the norm?

I would be interested to know how others feel if they have had a similar situation

No I wouldn’t be bothered.

If I was, I’d message them and ask why they didn’t verify me.

I’ve already been verified, I don’t *need* verified anymore. Verifications are just proof (not 100% solid though) that someone is real

I really dislike it when someone doesn't leave a veri personally especially when I have gone to the trouble of getting ready for them, invited them to my home, made them feel welcome and given them a good time. I just feel it's a nice way of saying thank you. That's just me. I always verify for the same reason xx

If they have straight on their profile then I'd say the reason is they don't want a veri from a tv in case it hampers their chances with the other women. That's fab for ya!

I forget to veri especially as I’m not fussed about my veris (I don’t display and already have veris). Sometimes I get asked to do it as a gentle nudge, I’m not being malicious.

I’ve had some great meets from here this year but I’ve only verified one. I don’t really like doing them or receiving them. I only did that one because he was unverified and asked me to do it. We are currently ongoing so I asked him not to do one for me.

Absolutely it's a two way process. I usually verify them as soon as they walk out my door. And inevitably get one back. Maybe just 3 or 4 people that haven't. I have "regulars" but we don't verify everytime we meet. Just once is enough.

Isn't that just hypocrisy? How can you possibly complain that they haven't verified you when you haven't verified them? They could level exactly the same complaint against you. How do you know they are not upset that you haven't verified them?! What's the difference?

Thanks for all the feedback. After the first guy didn't verify, I did ask if he would. He said he would leave "a glowing" verification. I checked quite a while after to find he has either blocked me or left the site

So there's a little bit of once bitten....

As I said before, the thread isn't a complaint, I just wanted to see how often this happens and why people think it might happen. But all of your posted thoughts are appreciated
