Northampton Somewhere

Driving along with my little lady today Vogue by Madonna came on and I thought 'that's what I'm going to sing at karaoke night when we're on holiday'.

I'm pretty good with the words being a closet fan so could even come up with some moves to.

Of course she's not happy about it and has even threatened to go back to the room should I get on stage .

I admit I'm a terrible singer. But entertaining.....well I think so!! Last time I done Girls by Calvin Harris, the children were mortified. Especially as I changed the words and pointed at various women in the audience.

So what's your tune? And what's good to sing with your other half?

Thanks

My generation - with full on Daltrey mic swinging, there’s a less than sober rendition of it on YouTube courtesy of my daughter

My song is ‘thats Life’ frank Sinatra. It’s just the words. Even though it was written at least 40 years ago it’s still so true.

"Beelzaboss, me and the partner smash that one."

I'm not familiar with that, I'll check it out!

I can see my hubby doing that. Last one he done was an Oasis song, a couple of women were in tears!

Over the years I’ve sung quite a few. - the one I probably sang most often was Billy Joel’s - Just the way you are

Once tried Anarchy in the UK in a Japanese karaoke box in downtown Tokyo. The tune was a bit like something out of a carpenter's song. Very distressing.
