A bit proud of myself

I have just had a vasectomy.

We are a strictly safe-sex couple but we are happy we are not going to catch anything off each other. We have always used condoms in order to avoid an unwanted pregnancy but we looked for an alternative.

Hannah offered to do something that would mean we could dispense with contraception but I didn't feel that it should be a woman's responsibility to alter her body and take risks when the man benefits too. So I proposed that I have a vasectomy. It turns out she was hoping I would offer to do that but didn't want to say anything so I didn't feel any pressure to do it.

I feel good because I've done right by the one I love. It's not done lightly though because I still have altered my body forever.

I am now giving myself a pat on the back by eating a pack of Bakewell slices.

Have a second pack! Good work. It makes it so much easier and is so much less invasive for a man to be sterilised than a woman.

Good man, I'm a huge proponent of vasectomy's. I'd get one myself if I thought they would agree to it.

"Congrats

"

Is that because of a lack of children? I had mine done on the NHS.

Yep, he's 49 in a week, no kids, I'm 30, no kids....so they said he has to pay and it's expensive!

I was told that the Mirena coil is the most permanent thing the NHS offers for women.

I had the snip 15 years ago, best days work i’ve Ever done!

Also it’s far simpler than the female equivalent.

My cock was back on the nest in 24hrs

I have it, although partly also for health reasons.
