My best caution to the wind story is this: I’m an over thinker, I worry and fret and get in my own way. I met a guy in a chatroom in 1999, we were friends for a year and it felt like more but seemed silly as it was online and that wasn’t considered valid back then. I bought a plane ticket, flew 5000 miles to meet him and it was real. We’ve been married since 2002.

If I listened to my overthinking self, I wouldn’t have met him, and I definitely wouldn’t be living in England. The way that worked out definitely makes me push through my thoughts and just do the thing, even if it’s not as big as that.

It's not easy.. I changed my career after 19 years and my 18 year marriage ended all in the space of 6 months... It was bloody hard but now I couldn't be happier.. (well a couple of things are missing haha) sometimes you have to take that leap of faith x

Very similar but for me not anyone else.

At 18 (1988) as soon as I could get my Passport I left the uk for good I did not hesitate for one second, after such a shit childhood I had to get away. I traveled through France, Spain, Gibraltar then Tangier, Algiers, Tunisia, Libya and finally entered Egypt 5 months later, Egypt has always seemed to be calling me it's all I ever thought of.

Egypt has been good to me I have a good life here.

If you dont do what your heart desires, you will always think 'What If' just do it.

Take it from someone who spends a bit of time, every now and again, slightly overthinking. Life is too bloody short to not do it and actually experience all the happiness life can bring. And if it turns out to be a bad decision? Well fuck it you tried.

I've decided to adopt a more fuck it approach; hence next weekend. Which I'm a bit ach no about but also. Fuck it. And going to the gym because fuck it, life's too short to not actually try. So live more. Experience more. And I can cheerleader you on all day.

Often and enjoy the sky diving journey too.

Life is short and those friends of mine who are the saddest are those constantly thinking 'if only'.
