For a weekend away which would you chose, cabin in the woods, beach house, city apartment?

Equal votes for cabin and beach so far. I think it would depend on the weather. Misty and wet cabin. Sunny or stormy beach.

I live by the beach and a city break is best with another so will opt for a cabin in the woods

.

Can I go for a cabin in the woods near a beach? City breaks are lovely but slightly chaotic, I like the stillness of woods but the beach is perfect in how it makes you switch off.

The right place

It depends on the time of year.

In summer a beach house would be great.

In winter a cabin (or chalet) in the woods in the Alps near a ski resort would be perfect.

I’ll take the beach house please - no matter what the weather is, I love to be by the sea

Ah, the hot tub is a given! I'll throw in a stream plunge pool for good measure.

How about a cabin in the woods on a lake shore?

I saw a fantastic lighthouse but don’t seem to be able to find the link now. I’d love to stay in a lighthouse for a weekend away.

A quiet beach house somewhere hot would be amazing. Just chilling out naked on the beach, little bit of swimming, and a little bit of fucking while the sun sets on the horizon
