In your opinion, how many verifications is too many? (If any).

Does it make a difference if they are just from socials and not playing?

Is there a different amount of ‘too many’ for social verifications, and play verifications?

Also; do you display all your verifications? Why, or why not?

I don’t care how many verifications people have.

I don’t show mine, they’re my business only.

The amount of verifications makes no difference to me.

I don't like reading the really graphic ones though, they tend to put me off a bit.

I display mine, providing they don't give too much info. No one needs to know every detail of my meets, that's for me

really couldnt care how many verifications people had i only ever read the top couple anyway. As for me i used to show all my verifications then decided to hide them but kept the tally on display. The reason i hid them was i decided it was noones business who i met

I don't think you can have too many.

The number doesn't bother me and wouldn't stop me messaging someone.

They type of people they've met might, if they've met mostly gym fit 30 something's with floppy hair there's little point messaging.

I hide my summary and the vast majority of my veris, way too many drama llamas on here.

Doesn't bother at all.

Mine are mostly social or from clubs.

I don't display all of them, some because they display personal information that may identify me or because they are graphic.

.

It's not so much the amount, it's the who and what's in them that can make me . It just shows I'm not compatible with someone and they with I.

Do I display all of mine? Ha, no. I tend to display the social ones. I've met people and not received a veri, it doesn't make what transpired any less real.

Never to many, some just have more luck than others or visit clubs regularly only ones that put me off are the bareback ones (if a guy has met a well known woman in our area who has over 100 bb veris)

There's definitely an inkling of that, and I've heard of more than a few who've stopped displaying veris as it seems that there are quite a few who suddenly find others attractive when they receive veris from certain people.

Hiding in the shadows

The amount wouldn't put me off, but the content might!

I've got nearly 200, but less than 10% of those are from playmeets.

The rest are from social & club events I've been too. People I've just chatted with.

The number on my summary & what I display don't tally.

A lot of people have left, and quite a few are from the same people, when I've attended their events, so I only display the most recent.

I don't like graphic veris, I actually find them a complete turn off, I wouldn't display one if someone left me one, although I do tell them that first, so it's not bedn an issue.

I've got a few social veris I don't display, as although all we did is meet for a drink, there's an implication of much more.. That annoys me!

We only have 2 so there's not really a lot to read lol. Most of our meets are from another website where verifications are not a thing. But we have no problems showing ours as I think it gives you a bit of a better over all picture on the person you may be speaking too (just my opinion anyways)

Somewhere in Co. Down

I don't show mine as it is no ones business who I have meet. And I've had more socials than play meets anyhow. Mine are nice veris and not graphic but I still prefer to keep them private. I also don't ask for veris if I meet. If someone wants one who I have met I will give them one if they choose to give me one it's grand but I don't ask. Once you ar verified then that should be enough. If I meet someone and they want to see them then I will show them but only then. I also don't read others veris it just doesn't really interest me. You get a fairly good idea what people are like just by chatting anyhow.

no idea.

I know I don't care or need them.. nor do I want to give them .. it's just a ego boost to say you've done this and that .. but you only see positive veris you never see any bad ones and with some people on here I'm pretty certain negative veris would outweigh positive ones.

I have to be honest, if I saw someone with hundreds and hundreds of play meets that would definitely put me off.... I'm just not built that way.

Hundreds of social meets are different, because well, they're socials and that's fine.

Although I do tend to skim read the verifications just to make sure the person I'm meeting isnt a fruitcake.

I don't need verifications, women chat without them, too many play veris in a short period would put me off, social veris are OK but tell you little if you're wanting to gain info about a person, mostly mean you're nice to chat to, and very graphic veris not good, oh and some wonder why they can't get meets and start threads lol but a veri I looked at recently would put me off and most women I would have thought, they can be seen as bragging, I personally would rather not know what went before

I've had some profiles say I've met too many people.Regardless of the fact over the last year or so,I've barely met anyone. Also theirs a number of cam verifies and social verifies. Some verifies are from old friends or maybe some form of update.

Being on the site about a decade it's pretty likely as a sociable type, your'e going to have a number of verifies, why should I hide them if it makes someone else uneasy?

Why should I listen to judgmental people who think they are better than the 'other site bikes'-as they will sometimes phrase.

Some people just dont like other people meeting people, unless it's them.

To be honest,I rarely read other peoples verifies but I wont jump to conclusions or judgments when I do read them.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I love a good veri and enjoy giving them when deserved, but posting them generates too much hassle, grief, jealousy and pettiness. This on a site where people should supposedly be open, tolerant and free spirited.

I'm much happier now that I keep them private

20 verifications from the same person in a short period of months to me can be a bit of overkill, pretty much saying the same thing apart from what round it is.

I rarely read veris, and I don’t particularly pay attention to how many someone has. I’ve seen people with over 100, doesn’t make me think any less or any more of them. I however really don’t like graphic, overly descriptive veris, just find myself cringing at them.

I show mine if I feel like it and also hide them too. I've had issues in the past when displaying a new veri, especially when it's been a Forumite, so I don't tend to show those ones now. I might though one day. I love to get the old tongues wagging

Manchester (she/her)

I show mine. They can show what I'm like as a person, reading between the lines, which is how I use them when I look.

Too many seems like weird slut shaming that doesn't belong on a site like this.

Some of the content on mine is probably TMI, but it's a record of what other people think of me and I display for that purpose. What I write is a bit more circumspect.

Drama that comes from verifications is irritating but can also be a useful filter of people I don't want to meet. You stir shit about who I've met, I probably don't want to meet you.

Wherever the wind takes me

I don’t display mine as i have had a few incidents of their past meets grilling them about me, constantly checking out my profile and other folk they’ve verified checking me out and then asking them if they can arrange a more-some with me included.

Too much of a faff.

I’m not really bothered by amounts of verifications unless its from the same person shitloads of times.
