That's an interesting question..

I'm verified but let's say I want to make myself look like a porn star fucking stud, well, with vpns I could create accounts of women and populate those accounts with closely cropped porn pics... I can get around google reverse image search by slapping loads of text over all the pictures of women from instagram, then have these women verify me and now suddenly I'm a porn star fucking stud.

Of course. No system is foolproof.

However, the more verifications they have, particularly from active accounts with lots of verifications themselves, the less likely it is.

Yes it is and there are some obvious ones; three times this week I have seen 'female' and 'couples' profiles with verifications from guys showing 'verified by meeting' and the verification says 'been chatting to these guys / her for ages on here, hope to meet one day and the verification is from someone 300 miles away from the person.

that is fake surely ! and not subtle, I have been asked in the past to verify 'female' profiles with the promise of a meet if I did - refused, reported and blocked.

use google images, or tineye, and then report and block any you think are fake.

maybe if everyone does this then admin will start ing them out.

you cannot verify someone who has used the same computer as you, so unless you have loads of PC's to create the accounts it wouldn't work, something to do with IP addresses or something else technical, I tried to verify a lady who had used my laptop on her account in a hotel and the site wouldn't display my verification of her, she could verify me from her computer at home, so I was very confused and that was the explanation I was given …. dunno if it was right, but that's what happened

You meet someone who is verified, and they will verify you, and in return you can verify them. Or go on the chat rooms, show your face and ask someone to verify you. Then, you’ll be able to verify anyone.

I occasionally see profiles where one is presumably real, but the only verifications shown are of each other. So I'd guess a guy got cam verified then verified his spare phone (female) accounts. The thing that makes me figure that is that a) the male profile is pretty new and often unappealing, and b) the veris and profiles are all written in an identical style, down to similar descriptions and unusual spelling mistakes.

I’ve spoken to a few guys who have been verified but have sent me pics of people that were obviously not them. Without having face pics public it’s easy for people to fake who they are to some people, even with verifications.

Not much of a wanker myself, and I'm just don't get "wanking together" thing. In the Stories and Fantasies posts on the Forum, there seems to always be a few threads - by phone, by video - and, each to their own, but I fail to see the point.

I used to chat on an app which had the option to send live pics, voice messages and videos.

Almost everytime I asked for one of those, the person who I was chatting with would make up an excuse not to send or end the chat.

Made me think the amount of fakes onlkne is unbelievable.

Just this weekend I had a guy message me asking to verify him. I thought I might know him from a club (difficult to tell from his photos!) so I asked who he was and where we had met. All I got back was a message saying "you gonna do it or not?" I didn't (he's now blocked) but if anyone has verified him from an approach like this, chances are it's a fake account

Hopefully they haven't but it only takes one person who will to mislead everyone else

I had this happen to me, a quick reverse image search showed the supposed chap I was talking to.

He carried on trying to tell me I was wrong and then eventually sent a picture of the real him. A minimum of 20 years older, twice the size and a totally different colour. Like I wouldn't notice that!

His defence was..... well we will both be horny so it won't matter.

I look to see if they show them and there varie count. If they do then i look at them varies to see howmany they have met. Bit like a family tree. If the tree stops with just them two i class it as fake.
