I’m a self confessed cake addict. I’m back on my diet this week and I’m cutting down to only two pieces a week

Sad times!

My favourites are... Chocolate, Lemon Drizzle and baked cheesecakes

What’s yours?

Ps, I can be bribed with cake.

I had an unbelievable dark chocolate recently. They served it with some raspberry compote and plain Greek yogurt.

I swear, I almost came eating it.

Two pieces?

Boldy, what are you doing to yourself?

I love baked cheesecake. With fresh cherries. Or a really rich, squidgey chocolate fudge cake. Or a mouthwateringly tart lemon bundt cake. But my absolute favourite cake of all time would a cherry genoise cake.

I (Luke) shall venture to speak for Hannah on this matter. She is from the USA and in the year she had been living in the UK, one of the things she has been most excited about discovering (aside from her really bi side) has been Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells.

For me I would say millionaire's shortbread, or if you don't count that as a cake, I'll say red velvet cake.

Too many to choose from... I inherited my grandma's recipe book.

So out of that I'd say her sticky ginger cake with hard sauce (its just icing sugar mixed with rum)

Or her Rum cake

Or her coconut and lime cake

Or there's an amazing red velvet cake, with chocolate cream cheese frosting!

I'll just have all the cake please!

Proper schoux pastry blob. Filled with dollops of fresh cream... Topped with coffee icing.. A spot in ludlow used to do a classic...

Unfortunately we couldn’t make the group social in the end so she passed the cake onto a young lady we were due to meet.
