Why oh why oh why does every prepared pasta salad from any supermarket containing chicken, have to include sweetcorn? It really isn't necessary.

I agree! And abroad. If you ask for a salad there’s sweet corn in it! Who the hell likes cold sweetcorn

It's a (mis) quote from Dinner Ladies. Basically the joke revolved around tuna 'n' sweetcorn being quite separate from its ingredients

Sweetcorn is necessary in every food because its common knowledge that everytime your sick there is always sweetcorn found in it !! Even if you havnt had sweetcorn
