I work a stupid amount, with only 1 or 2 days off in a month at times. Some of the days I’m paying £10,000 a year to do it, and the other days I’m being paid so I can continue paying £10,000 a year and survive

Sadly you just have to look into the latest enquiry in to the effects of the Universal Credit system to see lots of people are having to sell their bodies (and no doubt a bit of their souls, happiness and feeling of self worth) to make ends meet. Often single mothers who will do anything to spare their children to pain on poverty.

It really is not an issuse of fun for some people. Poverty is destructive on so many levels.

I think it's a very fine line between what you're describing OP, as being what to the person was possibly a 'cheeky story' and the wider issue of poverty, which to many is a very emotive subject.

Personally I find nothing about the scenario amusing or risible but hey ho.

It's funny, whenever more than a couple of people find something offensive on here, so often it's decided none of us have a sense of humour.

I don't see how any of what people have posted is even remotely related to this little toy throwing post OP.

Plenty of folks do what is needed in times of financial hardship, none of it seems to relate to demeaning themselves sexually though, which seems to be the aim of your thread.

Calling people names as a result of things not going how you wanted is a little puerile, in my opinion.

I’ve been in and out of hospital so only got stat sick pay from work (which I’m very grateful for). We had to sell things two months ago to be able to afford to eat, and last month we borrowed money from family. Neither of which was fun, both of which was embarrassing, both of which we didn’t *need* to do, but we wanted to eat. None of us laughed, and I hope it didn’t tickle anybody..

Skint is a relative term depending on what you think is skint.

We have friends who consider not being able to put £500 a month and only£450 as being skint.

Hardly struggling is it?

Also you hear about bankrupt stars who are down to their last few million.

The ops friend may have be skint by their standards or the said tenner may have been at home or they just couldn't be arsed to go to the cashpoint , could have been a long month?

Whilst others struggle to eat and put clothes on kid's back so while it's not amusing laughing at Those less fortunate,the op maybe have been laughing in context to the individual not actually being skint skint maybe just one of those people who have money but can't budget worth shit and is possibly a bit of a dick hence the laughing.

I don't know. Would a woman really get a can knowing she couldn't afford it and hoping the driver was happy to be wanted off in return? My reading, which may be wrong was she couldn't afford the fare so wanked the driver off in lieu of payment.

I've heard stories like this before, its normally woman with very low standards who are d*unk on a night out.

No normal woman would do this, skint or not... most people have legs and would rather walk.... and I'm sure those without legs would rather find an alternative way to get home.

This thread saddens me as money is really tight for so many of us. We’re all doing what we we have to, in order to survive but also trying to keep within the moral codes we’ve set for ourselves. This is being tested to the extreme atm.

I’m meeting more and more single mums in my line of work who are being paid for sex so they can make ends meet. What do I think of them? I think they should be respected for the decisions they have made not shunned as they often are.

When I had a breakdown a couple of years ago and was off work I came close to selling myself to put food in the cupboard.

I went hungry instead, then I realised I was able to visit a food bank and did.

So no, no naughty stories or anything funny, no favours in return for free stuff.
