I like the Amaryllis easy to grow and gives off some loverly flowers every year.

Also I havent killed them off yet either which i would normally do with normal flowers.

Sunflowers made me think of my childhood.

Fushias remind me of my mum, she used to tell me off for popping the thingys.

Roses for the gorgeous scent...and jasmine.

Orchids because they fascinate me.

Gerberas for their simplicity.

Anything bulby like tulips ~ spring is my favourite time of year

I can’t abide lilies in the house and Stargazer lilies give me the most horrendous headache within minutes of me being able to smell them

I love all kinds but think Dahlias are beautiful.

If I'm buying for myself I tend to go for a nice bright mix, always puts a smile on my face.

Smell wise I love the smell of honeysuckle. Reminds me of childhood summers
