Like I’ve been chatting to people at early morning or late evening before or after work.

But what pisses me off is when they varnish after you ask them a question..then dont reply for days..then after a week come back & say hi how are you.

If I’m leaving in a rush I say sorry got to jump in the shower for work catch up later...

Do you think it’s rude & disrespectful because in my mind these are the typical no shows who leave you hanging.

Maybe I’m just too nice & polite

Well they aren't no shows if you haven't arranged to meet.

People do stop messaging in the middle of conversations, it does feel a bit odd after all you wouldn't walk away in the middle of a face to face chat. Not sure what the solution is though

Yep true...it’s all the strange peeps on here just not being honest..so they arrange meets with no intention of turning up not even thinking of the effort the other is person/couple are putting in to get ready for a meet....that’s piss off

We usually insist on meeting in a pub so we can at least have a drink if they don't turn up.

I don't mind people disappearing mid conversation things in real life come up. It's not a big deal. I don't think it equates to them not showing up on meets. I dissappear sometimes if I've been chatting and someone takes a while to answer I often have logged off before I get the message. If people take a week to answer then and they have been on then ye they are probably not interested or have found someone else to talk to.

Before a meet I always message people if they are ignoring the messages and have been online then then they are probably not going to show and I will cancel. Usually if they are intersted they will answer and show.

Well then I agree with what was previously said ... if it's just messaging and they disappear.. annoying yes .. but no harm no foul

If a meet arranged and no contact prior or after missed meet ... then yes ... time wasters

But ... people can have things that come up and fab is bit necessarily first and foremost in their minds ...

Repeated missed meets ... then you are probably fighting a dead horse ... just move on ... you have to develop a thick skin here

Including people posting their interpretation of what your thread means which may not be what you're expecting ... that's the forum for you
