I love it. I dont really like the large gin companies, i like the small businesses that are bringing some fabulous flavourd gins out.

Warner edwards rhubarb gin is awful, yet try Slingsby (a small gin company from Yorkshire) Rhubarb gin its amazing, particularly great with elderflower tonic or ginger ale.

I love gin, some of the flavoured ones can be lovely. I currently have homemade rhubarb, homemade aloe, homemade damson, Aldi Seville orange and lime, Gordon’s pink and jj Whitley cherry. Oh and a homemade Seville orange gin that will be ready to drink January 2022!

My favourite gin has to be La Republican, closely followed by Theodore Pictish gin. Both are from craft gin club and are made with unusual botanicals rather than just being a flavoured gin

A rhubarb or a raspberry gin with prosecco is the business. Alcohol with an alcohol mixer. What's not to like?

Probably one of the most successful marketing strategies in modern times. Taken it from 'Mother's Ruin' to a trendy tipple popular across all age groups and particularly with the young uns. It will probably be used as a case study on MBA courses in the near future.

Not keen on flavoured gins tbh. I did try one that had hints of lavender in it (Ginmare maybe) which was quite nice.

I tried the Hendricks limited edition summer on ~ yuck!!

See also cider on ice, prosecco, craft beers.

The way people follow fashion intrigues me at times.

I still think of traditional gin as probably the most repulsive spirit ever, good only for cleaning your loo with (smells v similar to Toilet Duck IMO), but tasting rhubarb gin under protest was a revelation. It makes the loveliest cocktail mixed with vanilla vodka and lemonade - like alcoholic rhubarb and custard

All the myriad other flavours you can get now look tempting but I don't drink often enough to have tried them yet.

Agree. Went to their shop in Harrogate on Friday. Got rhubarb for my daughter and gooseberry for us. Very nice with Fever Tree Mediterranean.

I went to the offy on Saturday evening to get my bottles of wine for the evening, and spotted Echo Falls do a rosè wine with gin!! And describe it as a perfect British summer drink!!? In what part of Britain is that a perfect summer drink?

Anyway I bought a bottle to try. It's actually like gin with a weird alcoholic mixer thrown in, like a dirty pint or something a teenager would throw together while draining the last drips of alcohol out of all the empties for a last desperate drink of the night. It definitely ain't any kind of wine though

That said, I did mange to get through the whole bottle, it's only 9 per cent, with no ill effects, but won't be back for more.

I got an email today offering the opportunity to buy another bottle of Theodore Pictish gin. It’s so good that I jumped at the chance!

I only get a bottle every 3 months as I actually don’t drink a lot. I always measure my gin and only have 1-2 25ml shot per night. My ginventory normally has about a dozen bottles to choose from as I like variety

I er umm might have more than that...just on the top shelf alone! While it does all get drinked* (very drinked!), I like trying new ones so rarely finish one before starting another.

We make our own too, far too much of it but it is nice. Pineapple and apple and pineapple and mango are nice but my favourite is just straight juniper
