It’s not right, pigs all animals are conscious and sensitive, we treat livestock as if it were food and had no feelings at all

Military surgeons used to be attached to inner city hospitals, some even in the States to gain experience of gsw and stab injuries..

That was prior to Afghanistan/Iraq..

OP which paper was it in?
