Hi all. I've recently had a major operation and its left me with a big scar... straight line from groin to breastbone. Its made me a little self conscious.

Question is, would seeing a scar like this turn you off?

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest. If you have concerns about rejection based on that scar, just pop it on your profile so people who may be squeamish would know

Scars are like tattoos, they each tell a tale about a particular point in someones life, i often find myself intrigued about their origins (both scars and tattoos). They always make me more interested in knowing a person, definately not the other way round!

Wear it with pride, and enjoy its story!

Hi Ben

So 2 years ago I had stomach surgery left me with a 3-4” scar which I hate, last year I had a peg implant, this had left me with a small button hole (sealed) similar to another belly button but higher up..

These are the life scars and are as much of me as my arms or legs..

I have issues which cannot be seen, my spine has a problem which makes life uncomfortable

But hey I look at like this, scars or not, cancer or not, I’m still here And surviving !!!!!

All the best..

Always available to chat to on here

X

Stella

I have a huge 18" long scar on my leg as the result of a accident many years ago. I get self conscious of it at time but most times people don't notice. Only had one case where someone was put off by it but that was her loss not mine. We all have scars they are part of us and they tell a story.
