Agreed. Putting yourself in a league is all about self esteem and denying others the ability to like who they like. It's absolute rubbish.

Perhaps it sas something about that person. The saying is "to punch above your weight" not "punch above your league."

My view is it's more about pushing boundaries than reaching a heavy weight or Premier League.

Obviously I'm in the top of the league of all leagues. To be in it with me you need to be slightly crispy round the edges, a bit slow to get going in the morning and have to think about your crowns before you bite an apple or wire into a spare rib in barbecue sauce.

I'm flexible about leagues I'll accept offers from, and flexible where I'll offer (down not up).

I used to do it when text messages were eye wateringly expensive. I'll sacrifice my vowels to say more for less. Now? No.

If It's based on looks alone, then it's all about personal perception, and I do think that people in general are attracted to people of the same perceived level of attractiveness. And yes, I know that that is a huge sweeping generalisation, and there will always be exceptions.

I'd agree with this. Sort of. I think it's more confidence based than attractiveness per se. I do remember being quite offended when someone said we were equal levels of attractiveness though.

Absolutely, and I should probably point out that the emphasis should be on the word perceived in my original post.

My perception of my own attractiveness is fluid and changes from day to day, even minute to minute sometimes....when I'm feeling a bit bleurgh I won't message anyone
