Our consciousness time difference

Just a bit of far fetched thought about our consciousness while we sleep,

you know how when we sleep we hit a process known as deep sleep but it seems like we skip through to morning/waking in an instant...

We all hit that state at different times so say person A tries sleeping at 9pm but doesn't fall into deep sleep until 6 hours later.

Person B starts sleeping at 9pm but manages deep sleep straight away so that means person B's consciousness has ended up waking straight away in the morning... While person A is still trying to deep sleep person B is already 6 hours ahead of person A.

So person B's consciousness gets to 9pm 6 hours earlier than person A and falls into another deep sleep putting their consciousness further ahead of person A ....

Over time this gap exponentially increases to the point where person B is days or even years ahead of person A ...

So that means our minds could be all over different stages of time like my mind could still be in the year 2000 while someone elses could be year 2066.

Sorry in advance if this confuses you but my mind thinks of weird shit, I hope someone understands where I'm going with this.

But you don't actually time travel so your brain isn't older or younger

no but our minds could be in different times.. like I could be still trying to get to sleep but you've already had your deep sleep and could be enjoying your breakfast before my mind even goes into deep sleep... You get me?

This post has effected my consciousness deeply and I've been out and about since 8 but didn't have a fantastic sleep as it was warm, so this probably hit me properly a week from Thursday

I like this sort of thinking about stuff. That said, we're not conscious when we're asleep.

It's interesting that the human mind is so fantastically complex that dreams are a thing.

Actually, not just the human mind, to be fair. Dogs dream as well.
