Do you speak your mind?.

Or hold back on certain subjects? I try to say what I want on things, if I have a opinion on it, there is a fun saying and it goes like this, dont talk about politics or religion lol

If it's something I'm really passionate about, I'll definitely speak my mind and the OH often has to signal for me to cool it down.

But I won't engage in any conversation that seems to be provoking controversy for the sake of it, or for the sake of attention. I can't be asked.

On here? I tend to avoid the heated discussions, more because I know the type of people they bring out and I can't be bothered engaging with them.

In real life I'll say my piece when I think it's appropriate.

Don't talk about Politics or Religion that's good advice, especially where I live.

Yes i do. I dont know why its seen as a negative thing. I will say what ive got to say. Sometimes its negative but more often its positive. So if i have something positive to say to someone i say it. I think its only wrong to speak your mind when you do it in a negative way and never a positive way

I'm very open and do speak my mind. I don't think it's worth it sometimes though so I'll hold back at times. But if I'm passionate about something, I will happily use my voice even if other people disagree.

Yes, I talk about things I know nothing about and insist I’m right, even though I have no facts to back up my misinformed opinions. But I refuse to back down even when the other person is clearly better educated and better informed on the subject, a subject I clearly know very little about.

I struggle to shut up if I have strong opinions. I try to avoid “real” subjects on here as this site is about escapism and fun for me.

I do love a rant about politics, religion and all sorts of things, and a debate unless someone is too ignorant.

Well speaking for myself, it beats speaking anyone else's!

As for P, no definitely not. She keeps her opinions to herself for fear of upsetting others, despite my always telling her she should speak out more. But no, she keeps her own council as she prefers the sea to be calm, unrippled and still.

Things fly out of my mouth before I engage my brain sometimes

Age hasn't brought me wisdom it has brought me indifference whether people like me or not

I try to be kind and I try to walk away from the people that make my blood boil - it's better than having an opinion.

No one cares really - most people are waiting for their turn to speak.

It all depends who it is, you just know with some people it's their way and not open to suggestions and/or opinions so not really worth the breath it takes to say it.

I, Mr, have in the past not been too vocal when I should have spoken up, repressed childhood saw to that.

In the past year in particular, with life changing events going on, I'm less likely to let things pass me by nor do I give time to the nonsense that I would have the benefit of the doubt to before.

Life is short and I am living it to the max. I don't have enemies, but if they aren't into us, then they just have no space in our lives. The friends we have are great, so will defend them to the hilt.

That is right and I have also noticed that, that it depends of who is commenting, as they cant accept other views or opinions other then theirs.
