In a club in town

He took me for a kebab after, an upmarket one that came on a plate.

I was sold.

I found said kebab in my handbag 2 weeks later and remembered I had taken it home for the cat.

That was around 22 years ago.

He lived around the corner for years and was my friends big brother.

But he put a Facebook status up; ‘like for a like’

So I liked it.

And he wrote ‘I like how you’re good looking, I like how you’re friends with my brother and I like how we should get to know each other’

Eight years later, here we are

Met in a club Friday night, and just talked. Went on a date on the Sunday, must have played a blinder as we're still together after nearly 30 years.

Met mine on a uni forum, we chatted for a while and exchanged numbers then his mate text me pretending to be him on a night out to get us to meet face to face. Worked 13 years later still going strong
