So people not observe personal space anymore?

Obviously on public transport or in a situation such as a festival where there are lots of ppl this cant be helped but in places such as the que at the supermarket.....?! I had some chap practically humping my leg. I stepped away, he stepped closer, i gave him the death glare and stepped away again and still he budged closer. Few of my colleagues at work are the same no regard for personal space.

Answers on a postcard do you not mind getting up close and personal or do you like 3ft radius of personal space?

Surely there are rules in some old dusty etiquette book somewhere...

I prefer my personal space to be respected. Even if it is an attractive woman with a nice anus

Some people have no awareness. I step away too and do the death glare.

Some men do it on purpose to be obnoxious. They can fuck right off.

I always move a bit and if it doesn't work, I just leave. There is always a different queue or time to get what I want.

This happened to me the other day queuing at the bar to order food and drinks on holiday. The bloke behind me was breathing down the back of my neck, clearly doing it on purpose to get the direction to touch me. If I'd been on my own turf with a few beers inside me I'd have had words

North west ish

If people do this to me in supermarket queues I step towards them. 9/10 they take a step back and it's uncomfortable for them. It doesn't bother me them being that close, try it, see what happens.

That’s exactly what I do too! Works like a charm.

It does! Especially if you make contact.

Up on them there hills

Clubs can loose a little of this etiquette sometimes.

The way we play the focus has to be fully on the lady we are with. Last thing you need is a dic/person want to take the administrators attention away especially if she has spaced.

Simply tell the idiots to step back, embarrassing them, him, or her.

"Simply tell the idiots to step back, embarrassing them, him, or her."

And break the focus, no way, just take a wing woman/man in open play rooms.

Millers 7+\-2 theory.

If she is spaced you need all your attention on her.

That's a great tip, I'll try it. Walking back into them will show how close they are.

This is my pet hate, I cannot cope with people being too close to me in non sexual circumstances. It freaks me out, id rather just move than have someone sitting too close.

Often people are just not aware how close they get. You move away, they move closer. You move closer, they move away. Sometimes I use the trolly as a barrier if I don't want contact

Yeah but they not talking about play rooms, they are talking about general life, or have I missed the point.

Personal space should be observed in play rooms if ppl don't want you to touch but yes in general life some folks have no regard for the personal space of another.

Love the tip on how different folks deal with it.

I'd put on my best Hyacinth voice and ask him to respect my personal space. Show them up, they'll soon quit.

Nothing worse

I know its a cauvinistic ploy with some men , but theres a kind of challenging posture among the young too, blocking a pathway , or entrance to a shop then turning their back as you approach ! Or slowing their stroll as they cross the riad as you approach
