I’m attempting to become the first person to sail the English Channel in a sailing boat with sails made entirely from worn underwear.

Currently I have a pair of size 24 M&S granny pants which should make the spinnekar on their own, but after that I’m down to two thongs and a pair of y fronts with more than the standard 4 holes.

On reaching France all undergarments will be returned or distributed to deserving individuals.

Either is great, if you’ve got the ones with the genuine Fleetwood Kipper Box smell that will help with the nautical feel of the appeal.
