Now all the women feel safer , having been warned not to stick lolly ices up their chuff......

What GOOD piece of advice can you give to fellow fabbers to stay alive in a heatwave ??

1. Don't put strawberry jelly in your brassiere.

Apparently we’ve been advised to refrain from sticking ice lollies up our foofs so instead, fill a condom with water, tie the end off, pop it in the freezer for an hour and use that instead. Or stick it up your bum if you prefer or even both if you make two. The bum thing works for chaps too

Serious suggestion..the white fleece you use to protect plants from frost, wet it and and hang it in front of open windows, cools the air, and stops wee beasties getting in.,

any other cloth will do, bed sheets etc..the factor is a draught blowing through the colder surface will cool the air.

Same principle of filling a bowl of cold water almost to the brim, and placing it in front of a fan.

Airflow across the surface of the water cools down the room faster.
