The best way is to bring your body temp up to match or more. Works really well. Tea and hot showers.

This actually does work. So who’s up for a hot, sweaty session followed by a nice hot curry?

Put a clean shirt and light shorts or light dress if you prefer in the fridge when you go to work in the morning.

And you've got Something coooooool to change into when you get back home.

I’ve just spent 30 mins in a very refreshing cold bath after 9hours grafting in the sun, no shade anywhere near

I’ve drank 7 litres of water and not had a single piss all day!

North Bucks

I’ve had three cold showers and when doing the horses I had a little hose down myself.

My poor dogs are melting so I have made them a shaded room in the house with a Dyson air cooler blasting for when they need a lay down. Also made gave them some frozen banana and cooled their paws with a cold bottle of lager (which I then drank was rude not to)

Central

Cold baths.

Trips to supermarkets, purely to hang around the fridges and freezers.

Go slowly

Shut doors in the house, keeping cool rooms cooler

Cold water over your wrists

Extra ice for drinks

Breezes cool but moving hot air is a way to cook, how the convection oven works . Seek cool moving air

Use natural fabrics only - such as 100% cotton. Poly-cotton etc will trap heat. All sheets, pillow cases and linens should be cotton. Cotton clothes will likewise be cooler. Aim to have few layers, as each one traps heat.

If upstairs is too hot, rest or sleep downstairs

Get out of cities, where the heat island effect traps heat that is radiated, when it would otherwise be cooler. Outdoors, near water etc,may be cooler at the right time of day, where there's little city architecture.

Open home windows when safe, out of hours, with a throughput.

Keep a cool-bag with you, such as in the bedroom, with cold goodies - drinks, wet flannels etc.

Several frequent cooling and some longer periods of personal cooling, such as long cold baths, will sustain good health.

Obviously hydrate sufficiently, to keep your body able to self-regulate better.

Expect to do less and to do it more slowly, as a core mindset, cultivating a relaxed, peaceful vibe.

I've not put my pillows in the freezer, which I've heard of - maybe try?

bradford

Built a plastic box fit 2 computer fans onto it and turn on its power supply.

One hole at other end of box gives a cool air breeze.

Its cheap its cheap to run and its also quiet other than the fans noise.

Had a cool breeze blowing all the way down my naked skin last night whilst laid on the bed.

Just had to build it last night in all that heat but was so worth it in the end .
