anti vegans

Chelmsford

Two men ate chunks out of dead squirrels next to a vegan food stall in Soho..

They were charged with offences.

Vegan activists have protested in steak houses in Brighton as diners ate steak..

If vegan activists chewed carrots next to a beef burger stand I guess that would be ok. Mad world ?

Eating a dead squirrel in public. That's worth 3 points on the car licence.

How long were the dead??. I doubt they were alive immediately before they were being eaten.

It's as bad as whistling on a Tuesday. Bonus points for anyone who remembers where that comes from.

They tried a protest where I live in Aldi when I was in there. All linked arms in front of the meat fridges so you couldn't get in.

Fucking idiots, I just pushed the fuckers out the way

Exactly. It's not about the protest it's about outraging public decency

People need to get a fucking life if they're concerned enough by someone being vegan that they'd go out of their way to be such a massive bellend!

Let people make their own choices and leave them the fuck alone!

Really, raw dead squirrel?

Actually we should be eating grey squirrel, destructive little vermin that they are, it'll give the native red more chance as well.

yeah really I never got how people get in such a fluff over what people eat. At least the radical vegans (my vegan-ex told me that most vegans are vegan for health reasons) have environmental issues - though some of them don't add up it seems to me - but the anti-veggies out there are just rude control freaks. They are usually louder than everyone else too. We all need to eat, who cares.

Whistling on a Tuesday? You bastard Spasbeggar! How would you like some live scampi in your britches, or your eyeballs pulled out and replaced with hot toffee apples? Has your daughter still got no arms?

Grey squirrels are still classed as vermin in the UK, and can be controlled as a pest.

They've often been served on the menu in restaurants.

I would hope that anyone behaving in such a manner as to affront someone would be charged with a public order offence, be they carnivore or vegetarian

It's a petty way to try and argue against veganism. I wouldn't call it a protest, but just being an edgelord.

There are arguments against veganism, like skewing facts about global warming, and that there are bigger issues to tackle with the world's wildlife. Vegans can be stubborn, but people like this don't do people who eat meat any favours either

Plenty of guys up here go squirrel shooting - only way to protect Tufty and his fam is to take out the grey tree rats imported from the USA... I appear to have come over all ghetto while trying to explain the closest we get to gangland gun crime up here between the wall and the border, but there genunely is a telephoen tree to connect the guys who;re committed to keeping our red squirrel habitats clear of hgrey squirrels.

It is a shame as the militant, confrontational and self-righteous vegans are ruining what is a good movement for the planet. They get too many people's backs up who dig their heels in or deliberately eat meat to goad back. They need to change their approach and win hearts and minds

Dirty grey tree rats. I’m not a vegan but I would eat a salad rather than squirrel.

That said vegans seem to be allowed to protest against none vegans in very offensive ways with impunity Counter protests are a natural kick back against that.

Veganism is like religion. Good for you. Keep it to yourself. Leave me alone. Don't tell me what I can and can't eat.

For me, any feeling of ill will towards vegans has been drummed up by the media and seized upon by marketeers looking for a platform to sell soundbites on their cheap t-shirts and mugs

I've been around for almost 50 years now and can honestly say I have never even met a vegan, let alone had one approach me and preach at me

I think most just get on with their lives quietly

As with any movement, there are extremists but coating all vegans with the same disdain is, quite simply, just not required
