I'm constantly fetching her back inside but she sneaks out as soon as she's able to  she has a chiller mat, she hates it (I put it in her bed so she HAS to lie on it!) We have a paddling pool, she hates water. I tried putting ice cubes in her water bowl, she refused to drink until they'd melted. She just likes to be stupidly hot | |||

Her favourite thing to do is lie on the baking hot concrete directly in the sun I'm constantly fetching her back inside but she sneaks out as soon as she's able to she has a chiller mat, she hates it (I put it in her bed so she HAS to lie on it!) Cool or luke warm. Cold water in this heat can cause shock I didnt know that . Cheers "Its fine so long as the dog is not in the stages of heat stroke already. So don't stress about it too much. Cold water is fine to keep them from overheating, if they are already over heated then you need to gradually bring the heat down instead of the instant body shock of cold water. The more they are panting the less cold the water should be. | |||
