I (Luke) remember 80s soap adverts, particularly one for Shield. They used to show a smiling woman in the shower from various angles and show as much of her as they could get away with.

It's a bit sexist, but it did it for me when I was 16!

My mum bought it ! We ate it for lunch five days a week with bacon and peas. She wasn't a very imaginative cook. The only variety was if you got the blue plate or the brown one.

Nobody buys it now, but in its day the Smash robot campaign was supposed to have been one of the most effective ever run. Cadbury’s cornered the instant mash market almost overnight.
