Feeling uneasy

I live in a fairly rural area , and last night when I was in my local in the nearest town a woman walked past me gave a cheeky wink , said I look just like my profile picture, and then she just walked on, I was caught completely off guard and just froze as I was out with family, never seen the girl before, checked fab and couldn’t find a profile of anyone in the area that looks like her, was left feeling a bit unnerved, has anything like this ever happened to any of you out there,

Did you have near me turned on?

We have been recognised twice, in the same evening as it goes.

She might be in that group that blacklisted you...

Or maybe she's Scottish or English and seen you post on the forums in last few days...

North west ish

Why do you have your face as your profile pic? Approaching someone in public is bad form, but it's easily remedied with not having face pics.

Hillside desolate

I was recognised recently but as I was with my family he had the good sense to message me instead of approaching me. If you have your face public, I suppose it's going to happen at some point.

On home screen on mobile you will see top right hand corner

I believe there is an option to share location or not in preferences.

yes , I thought that too ,but she said fab , because even the people that were with me started to ask me what is fab, I tried to brush it off as another term for Facebook

You do have something to hide in that you obviously don't want family to know you're on fab.

The woman was wrong, it's creepy and unnecessary, if a man did that to a woman he'd have been flamed.

Change your profile picture though, you can't influence other people's indiscreet behaviour but you can reduce the odds of it happening
