In the old days your mates were your neighbours, school mates or colleagues. Has that changed with mobile devices and social media? Your friends being those you have on-line things in common..

East Sussex

I can only tell you what my experience and that of my children is.

I have friends who live near me and who I met through work but I also have friends in different parts of the country and wider world who I can keep in contact with much more easily than previously. The same applies to my kids.

Yes. I'm closer to a lot of people I've met on Fab, Pof, Tinder and Facebook than I am to people I work with. My family live abroad. I'm not from this town. So Social Media has been a life saver in not becoming lonely.

Slowly....well quite rapidly, the world, has we knew it, is changing and for some it is'evovling' and other 'retrograding' but whatever your perspectives on it, do not forget that some women take it up in the anus without lube.

Apart from fab, which I totally don't count as friends (unless we've met and actually are) I don't do social media so all my friends are really my friends!

Well, yes, of course it's changed . . . I'm thinking of starting a thread titled 'If you hit your thumb with a hammer will it hurt?'
