Am I the only one who hates winks especially if they aren't accompanied by a message?

"Oh I saw your profile I think you cute so I am gonna wink but you aren't cute enough for me to message " that's all I think when I get one

Or am I overthinking it?

Everytime I get one I check if there is a message and if not I block immediately I can't stand them lazy arses lol

Personally we dont mind them. Get them from other couples all the time. If we lile the profile we will wink back and then its up to them to msg.

We just see it as we think your hot and our wink is the same back lol

I've always thought it's something that the site owners could improve upon. Never really understood the point of winks (although I am guilty of sending them occasionally).

I'm not averse to them but usually ignore. Today I decided to ask a guy, why Wink and not message? He said consider it a compliment. So I did and we chatted. He left here about 2 hours ago. I will henceforth look at winks in a whole new light

This is how I use them, if there's an initial mutual interest/attraction then it's worth delving into the hideously clunky messaging function. Definitely overthinking it OP.

We don’t mind winks at all. See them as an icebreaker and an expression of interest.

If we like the look of the profile we’ll reply with a message.
