Stop being a hermit

In my happy place

I work from home a lot and office rest of week.

My friends dont live nearbut we arrange days out and catch ups.

I go to a gym.

But im alone a lot and dlnt get to meet many ppl.

Fab socials arent for me.

I need ideas to get me out ofthe house and not alone as there is only so much tidhing i can do

Do you have a dog? That helps. Or join a dating app that has a friends section (I can think of one, it has something to do with Bees, on that app you can either look for a date or a friend)

ive persuaded my eldest daughter to try a night class for this exact reason.

something girlie that may lead to friendships

im going with her for moral support

Try a adult education courses or dance lessons try and make new friends instead of just waiting for the friends you have, who I'm sure are good to have around.

Be like a tree have lots of branches.

Tried that awful app and i dont want a pet. Too much hassle plus im away with work at very short notice.

Im looking to see if theres a language course tho...good idea

Its hard making adult friends. Sex mates, are easier lol. But short lifespan in those friendships for me, by choice.

There's a walking club meets in the Commissioners Quay Inn every Monday morning. Not everyone's cup of tea but not a bad way to initially meet people that may lead on to other activities.
