in some ways the youth of the '70s & '80s had more chance of finding trouble. Things were a lot more tribal, gigs and football could both be very dangerous places and fashions were followed with the same partisanship as football.

More chance of finding trouble, less chance of getting killed.

Very little trouble at gigs until the skinheads reappeared on the scene ?

Statistics tell you it’s more dangerous crime never seems to fall

I think it's just reported more nowadays for a bit of sensationalism.

The right place

Still much more likely to die in a road traffic accident.

Dunno, I guess the chances of death are higher making it more dangerous. If you killed someone during a fight it was pure bad luck accident (hitting their head as they fell or unlucky punch etc)

Doesn't make fighting right or fair, however it will always be part of life over all ages.

You kinda don't shoot or stab someone by accident, you meant that shit.

Boston, Lincolnshire

Our town has seen a 1000% increase in violent crime in the last ten years, so yes it probably is more dangerous now.
