I never look particularly good in a suit. I’m not the right shape for them. However even if I haven’t shaved my head, wearing a grey one is no worse than any other colour.

A light grey suit might ‘wash out’ a grey haired guy, especially if he has a lighter complexion, sun tan would help that though. Mid grey to dark grey probably better. Really depends on if you can ‘wear’ a suit though.
