I once spent a little time in Lichfield, waiting hours for a coach home from bloodstock. Christ that place was boring. To be fair though, I had loads of camping equipment, and the girl I was seeing dumped me on the Sunday of the festival, so I was in no mood to be stuck in a crappy town for five hours.

Guildford is dull as all hell, but I would go back, only to do some photography of the cathedral though

I love London. Everyone goes about their business quickly and efficiently. I hate it when pavements and aisles are clogged up by people with nothing better to do than stand around talking nonsense with no regard for people that they are holding up.

Went to Brighton once. Didn't like that much, hideously expensive place.

Not on the North of the island. It's not chavvy at all. It's beautiful with independent little canarian restaurants. I would never stay south personally but hate it when people moan about a whole country due to one over populised English take over area

London. Best bit is the road out.

Los Angeles. Glad that I went to see it once but certainly wouldn't go back. The epitome of "Hotel California" with traffic jams.

Tangier. If the world had an arse this would be it. Complete shit hole.

Halong Bay (Vietnam) Yes the islands are pretty but the town and the people there were horrendous. South Vietnam was much better.

Salala (Oman) Why the hell any cruise company would even think about putting this place on the itinerary is beyond me. To be fair it has a nice beach but absolutely fuck all else.

I agree Salala is a dump. Cruise ships only go there because it has the world's cheapest fuel. What was horrendous when I was there was I saw two people from our cruise knocked down by a jeep and killed.

While it's true that the population of London triples between 9 and 5 so statistically you are right - for the population that live there, they're all Londoners and what make it such a wonderfully diverse city.

Londoners aren't not friendly either - in fact quite the opposite - I just think the hustle and bustle of our capital city (or in fact most capital cities for that matter - the French say all Parisiens are unfriendly) means that people are often in a hurry to get places and not as inclined to stop and chat as they might be elsewhere.

"Towns/countries, you've lived in or visited.

.

London: One week was enough.Unfriendly people and that was in the '1970's !"

Warrington, absolute shithole. Lived there for a few years, it's like the got all the worst people from liverpool and manchester and smashed them in the middle. 90% of the men have shaved heads and walk around like they're carrying invisible carpets under each arm. Chaos galore all walking around with their hands down their trousers cupping their genital.

I worked in the town centre and there was multiple fights every single night. At kicking out time there was girls so d*unk they just lay down on the pavement.

I've never been back once or even considered returning since I left

"Mansfield - stayed there once an route elsewhere - town centre was drab and awful, all concrete 1970s buildings, mainly full of pubs with loud karaoke and bouncers on the door, about two restaurants open to speak of and really nothing else to endear me to it at all - really not in any hurry to go back - sorry Mansfield "

As a gent who lives near Mansfield you are not wrong in your description, however it is a step up from Grimsby and Immingham. 18 months working there vowed never to return

So many places

Dhaka Bangladesh - utter shit hole!

Butlins - nearly as bad as Dhaka

Bologna Italy - hated everything about it apart from the food.

Luton - filth.

Loretta de Mar Spain - like being at Butlins but in Spain.

Kathmandu Nepal - poverty and street kids on drugs mingled with rich tourists that want to climb Everest - I hated it.

So many more places - but those are the ones that stand out the most

Yep it's not a nice place for women agree with that, the Egyptian men have no respect for their own women never mind westerners, horrible f**kers the lot of them, stepped in many times to help women that were being sexually harassed.
