Hi all , just looking for honest opinions from both men and women, I started a chat with a certain lady on fab, I have half my face showing on my profile, the lady asked if it was really me in the pictures, I said it is, then she asked for a full face picture as she said she didn’t believe me and I was wasting her time, I said I was happy to send a full face picture, but only if I got one in return from her, seems only fair, She said she would only send hers after seeing mine and was happy with how I looked, I replied had it ever occurred to her that I might like to see her too to see if I was happy, this is a two way street, at which point she told me she has blacklisted me, with some of the people who organize the main socials in Ireland, my question is , is she unreasonable, or was I unreasonable, for anyone interested, I have screenshots of the short conversation, it not a big deal but just curious

Sounds like a charming lady I’m sure her reach is vast in the scene.

You weren't unreasonable in the slightest - you stuck to your principles and way you use Fab and if she didn't like that then you obviously weren't compatible.

The blacklisting thing was probably an idle threat and to be honest would you really want to attend a social that did bar you on the say so of one individual?

Oh dear. Alls fair in Lust and War... Even when I don’t like the look of someone, if I’ve asked for a face pic, I’ll always send one back to be fair. It also makes the guy feel better as they can say, well you weren’t my type anyway.

We wouldn’t dream of asking for a face pic without attaching one ourselves. Same applies when I was a single lady. Different if we don’t ask and one is sent and we don’t like them! Lol

There are *some* that insist on everything being by their rules and to be honest they're entitled to if they want and they may well do well by doing so - for me though that kind of insistence would be a turn off for me and I wouldn't comply same as you didn't OPl

As someone who spent a lot of time living in Ireland, many there say much more than they can ever deliver.

Walk away and forget it. There are some really nice people there too. Those who aren't.... why would you care what they think say or do.

We all share our details and images on trust, with some risk attached. I don't understand her game and it sounds strange. She may be on some power trip or just aiming to put you off her.

It's always worth reporting questionable behaviour from others, to site admin. They can investigate further to see if there's any inappropriate activity etc. Block her and move on.

Party planners are usually experienced swingers who enjoy the lifestyle & not the drama so good party planners won’t listen to 1persons opinion esp over a trivial issue.

Good parties normally go with verified accounts so don’t go worrying about this incident until your verif’d. U should be concentrating on improving your profile (I wouldn’t even if contacted u in d 1st place if I were d lady) & getting verified. Plus naming her on your profile has done more harm probably than she could of.

OP. That woman was entitled to behave in any way she sees fit. If her requirement was that then so be it.

What she wasn’t entitled to do is threaten to badmouth you to others on that basis, but there’s sweet FA you can do about it other than block and move on and not give it another moment’s thought.

If you are showing a real picture of you (I’ve not reverse image searched) then eventually you’ll meet someone and all will be well.

It’s great that we can use the forum to vent and tell our side of the story every time there’s an issue now .

There was a time when we couldn’t , and I like this refreshing new approach .
