An app that will allow you to see what you will look like in 20 years old or so

It looks a lot of fun, my lad wants to try it at the weekend. Some of the results I’ve seen have been quite remarkable

You should keep it and compare when you reach that age

Haha

I’ll point out one flaw with the app, it hasn’t enlarged men’s ears or noses

Ok - what if they used your face to advertise something utterly repulsive to your views and beliefs?

I know it’s tongue in cheek and a bit of fun but broadness of the terms could be the start of a worrying trend on freemium apps.

You’re right. I’m surprised how gullible we as humans can be sometimes just for a moment of fun. Why would you care what you look like in twenty years??? So much could happen to change that!

It's probably the cynic in me that says this but is this a government facial recognition system using your Internet ulr

I have a mirror that does that. I don’t need an app.

FaceApp sends a record your face, name, age, location, date of birth, ethnicity, browsing history, installed apps, bookmarks and continual browsing behaviour to Russia, where it is used it to create data models for advertising, research, facial recognition and targeted messaging.

I’ll give it a miss.

Private viewings available

They really wouldn’t want my face to advertise anything and that sort of advertising isn’t allowed in the UK so why would I be bothered if they want a fake wrinkly nearly 70 old looking me

If you choose to put yourself photos anywhere online they can get them, it’s a choice you make - if some marketing person thinks this face is going to sell a product bloody good luck to them as it will flop haha

I tried the aged one and looked just like my mum, then the younger one and looked like my sister!
