The right place

This thread will be a bit niche.

I like hill walking but I also like a bit of scrambling too. Anyone else interested in this?

I’m thinking of another trip to Tryfan and Bristly ridge soon.

Where else is your favourite scramble?

Scrambling is a cross between walking and easy rock climbing and generally no rope needed and bouldering is pretty extreme climbing but on a boulder close to the ground.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time caving too, mainly in the mendips and South Wales.

Are there many cave systems in Cornwall? I thought it was mostly granite? And cave systems are generally in limestone.

Best Scramble has to be Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis or Aonach Eagach but the best grade 1 has to be Bochlwyd Horseshoe
