Feel nervous before and during meeting someone for the first time?

Yes. If I wasn't nervous it means I'm not excited so I wouldn't be going.

Before yes, during no. The first kiss normally calms the nerves.

First couple of minutes I think everyone gets nervous but when I get the ball rolling I lose the nervousness and get really confident and easily get on with the person I'm seeing

Yes but much like the wise old woman Rubi, my nerves are a sign of positive adrenaline. Almost a giddiness to see the other person. I quite enjoy them. They usually disappear after a few minutes but I do laugh a lot and stay... not giddy. But... excited.

I had my first fab meet on Saturday and I didn't feel myself.

She seemed very confident and relaxed about it.. But I felt like a little shy school girl Lol.

It went well though and we since chatted and she told me I was nervous.

She could sense it.

I always get nervous and prefer to meet outside a venue so I know they are there rather than walk in alone

Never had a bad meet, a couple of them I won’t meet again but they were nice enough so not a waste of time or nerves.

Yes of course. First meet is nearly always social and in a public place.

For sure. Most times I get so nervous I want to back out because I think I must be off my head for believing someone genuinely wants to meet me, and if they do then they must have something wrong with them.

Then I wonder if they're a murderer or something as I'm on my way and I imagine all the bad things that could happen.

After a few minutes I'm sound.

Sounds like me

I think to myself, why do someone want to meet me, out of all the men on fab.

Yes always nervous with anyone new. With my fwb I've been seeing him so long that it's just excitement instead

On a mooch

I get excited, but I don’t get nervous at all.

By the time I meet someone it’s like meeting a friend so what’s nervous to be about

No, never. I suppose it's because I accept the outcome could be miss rather than hit. That happens. That's life. It's no biggie. It's hard to explain, but I kinda know beforehand that everything will be cool. I've got a certain way of taking control of a situation and making people feel comfortable. A lot of people tell me as soon as they meet me they feel they've known me forever. And I've got confidence in that. So no, I don't get nervous.

I used to though. Terribly. But I got over it over the years.

Hiding in the shadows

Nervous, oh yes!

On a couple of occasions, I've been an absolute gibbering wreck.

I still get silly giggly butterflies even when I've met someone dozens of times.

If I didn't feel that way, I wouldn't want to see them again

Yes all the time. Very nervous. After about 10 minutes though I’m totally fine.
