Is gold not worth it?

I know either silver or gold Fab membership isn't expensive but for what most people do on the site, is it worth the extra? I see a good few long standing members on here only have silver, so I assume they've figured its not worth paying for gold since everything is unlocked with silver anyways?

depends on who you ask. I've had gold and silver in the past. Now I have neither. Doesn't effect my experience in the slightest.

I've never bothered with Gold, but am Silver cos you can follow pm's better and it cuts out the adverts

Gold doesn't really offer anything for us now that it doesn't come with a unicorn. We're happy sticking with silver.
