Help me out here ladies...

Is it fare to say in this modern day era that ladies really DON,T appreciate being appoached by guy who is unknown to them.

Preferance is always to someone in either there social circle or workplace .

Uuhhmm.... No. My social circle and colleagues are just that, I'm not attracted to them.

I met my FWB on the train... I think if you approach a woman in nearly any context in an appropriate fashion without making her feel uncomfortable and not reeking of desperation then if they're attracted to you anything can happen.

I'm obviously not a modern woman due to my age but I don't think things have changed that much. If a woman is reading a book, has headphones in or is alone in a fairly secluded area don't approach her. If she's in a bar, club, tesco queue bus stop etc and responds positively to an open smile and friendly hello by all means chat, just don't be pushy, suggestive or generally creepy or scary.

Nope, I love a confident man that will walk over and say hi, introduce himself and make his interest clear, confidence (not arrogance) is a huge turn on.

If she finds you attractive, no, she doesn't mind. Not minding is timeless. In 10,000 years women still won't mind if they find the men attractive.
