"Tbh as someone who started lifting as a timid size 18/20: the serious lifters don't mind unless you're inconsiderate. The tossers are tossers. Don't be scared. " Yes I've never had anyone be nasty in the gym and a lot of people who are really into it are really helpful and supportive of new people. Also logically you know that most people are focused on what they are doing and not paying much attention to anyone else. However, logic doesn't always help with anxieties and a smaller, less exposed area of mostly women can be a lot more comfortable for many. However, I often find it's similar to the dance floor. The hard part is getting up there. Once you get up there and get going you're away!

I went Keto 6 months ago, best thing I ever did, lose fat, build muscle and much better overall health. What keto rules do you follow?" I did keto for a bit. I tried to stick to under 50g of carbs a day. I mostly ate foods less than 5% carbs with small amounts of foods between 5 and 10% carbs. I cooked in butter and used a lot of caeser salad dressing and mayonnaise as I missed my ketchup haha. It was tough giving up sweet things but I felt great!
