Away for Christmas

How does yours work?

Do you show everyone with respect and then have their actions and attitude dictate if they keep it or lose it

Does your respect need to be earned initially.

Generally I'm the former, I respect everyone at a base level, everyone starts as respected. I don't believe respect has to be earned, however I do believe it needs to be maintained or increased.

Same as you, you have my respect until you show that you don't deserve it.

I expected most people would view it similar, but I know there are quite a few people who are the other way.

Then of course there are people who just don't have respect at all.
