Yep it’s that time of year again, I’m on the look out for some decent poolside reading material. Thrillers, adventure are my kind of thing to consume in the sunshine...

What are your recommendations please?

There and to the left a bit

My two go to authors for crime thrillers are Peter James (Roy Grace series) or Mark Billingham (Tom Thorne) - both are excellent and quite easy "beach reads"

Early James Patterson's always used to get a mention too but now half his books are co-written I'm not so keen.

Or try Ben Elton "Time And Time Again" which poses some interesting questions about changing history with not necessarily expected answers

James Patterson is always my go to. Never been disappointed. Also Peter James, Lee Childs, Patricia Cornwall, Tess Gerritsen
