Fake pics

I've had two conversations with fellas who've sent the exact same face pic. When I've confronted both of them they both claimed someone else has pinched their pic. Then when I question more I get blocked. Men like this bring this site down. Boils my blood that men are trying to mislead women. Just makes you aware you never know who you're actually talking to. Thankfully I'm streetwise and wouldn't meet without a kik video call initially. But it does put me off meeting anyone new!

They blocked me when I confronted them but I did report them. Issue is they'll do it again to unsuspecting women

It's not the site's fault.

It's why we always have a social only meet first. If they don't look like the picture they sent they're less likely to turn up although some still do.

Yes but to go through all the effort of getting ready for a social to turn up to someone looking nothing like their pic. The issue is men faking face pics

Not just men there's a few couples accounts, could be boring socially inept guys though, we've come across recently just the same, well using fake pics taken from the web. Even seen some women accounts too but guess they're mostly men who couldnt attract any ladies off line masquerading as a female

Someone posted a thread who I thought looked quite nice but his profile pic looked too good to be true. Tineye came back with 122 matches, one of them showed the full pic. It was of a gorgeous 20 something bloke, the fabber was 49! The profile had gone by the time I had done that.

It's very annoying!!

Assuming they are local-ish arrange the social around your convenience rather than making a "thing" of it - nearby Costa that you would be passing to go to Tesco anyway - make it clear it's a social only and you'd be dressed casually that way no effort or time wasted

Loads of all those types. Usually easy to spot.

Tineye is brilliant lol.. if it looks too good to be true it most likely is lol
