Which do you prefer?

I like both, but I'm more of a cat fan.

I like both and have owned both at the same time. At the moment, I have an indoor Persian, since my near future plans wouldn’t be kind to own a dog.

I’d say I’m have cat like tendencies, ie I’m very independent, don’t like being told what to do, like to sleep in boxes

But I prefer dogs as pets

I've always been more of a dog person but I currently have a very affectionate cat who I adore. There's also the benefit of cats being okay to leave for longer periods of time as I'm not in a position to look after a dog at the moment.

I know somebody who has a Savannah cat. A hybrid of a domestic cat and an African Serval. The generation 3 and 4 of this "breed" are essentially large cats (smaller than gen 1 and gen 2) that act very much like dogs, with hint of cat thrown in.

I have 1 of each. The dog wins hands down.

My dog is everywhere with me with no demands..the cat just demands food and demands the door open or closed so he can enter and leave the house, like I'm his butler!!
