I recommend

Charite and charite at war (2 seasons set in Berlin charity hospital)

And

"Look who's back" (about Hitler waking up in modern germany)

Obviously the anime "death note" (will suprise you even if you don't like anime)

Can you recommend anything good on Netflix?

I watch foreign stuff because I run out of us/UK things I like.

I’ve been hooked on Dark, and season 2 just dropped.

German series, think Stranger Things-esque.

I think I remember reading that the first season was Netflix’s highest grossing foreign language series.

Well worth the watch, though I recommend setting the audio to its original German and watching with subtitles. The English dubbing ain’t good

Not on Netflix but a really good film on Sky called 'the Captain' about a young German soldier stealing an officer's uniform during the last months of World War 2

The Raid. It was on netflix last week, if its still there, give it a watch.

Best action film ever made apart from The Raid 2

Sure is.

I still have my Netflix account from Canada after moving back a couple of months ago, and it’s available to watch.

Not sure how it is on the Irish/Uk Netflix, but it should definitely be available to stream elsewhere if it’s not on your Netflix

Another recommendation here for Dark - it was suggested to me by a German friend, she reckoned it'd be right up my alley and so far she's not wrong!
