How long has it taken you to complete a decorating job

we started our kitchen back in april, there’s only some tiling left to do and then painting the walls, but because we had a new sink, hob then had to get a new gas boiler cause the old one failed, the decorating has come to a grinding halt, hoping this weekend we will be back at it but if the weathers nice, i think we will end up in the garden, we have a new finish date of end of august now, i converted our loft into a bedroom in less time than that, so what’s the longest it’s taken you from initial prep to a complete finish in a room of your house?

Sadly I've got unfinished jobs in virtually every room...but on the plus side, my golf is improving
