One of my favourite bands of all time is The Blessing. Most people I have introduced to their two albums have really liked them but the vast majority of people have never heard of them.

Carter were fucking awesome. Even back in the day and despite their success they split fans who either loves or loathed them. Levellers were the only other band I could think of like that.

Having seen Jim in venues where the audience was little more than a few dozen I'm so pleased he is finally getting the recognition as a solo artist that he deserves. His recent book is awesome too
