Massive Bacharach fan, however '24 hours from Tulsa' I absolutely hate the song. The lyrics are about him meeting some woman in a bar and going off with her. He writes back that he was 'only 24 hours from Tulsa, 24 hours from your arms' basically trying to excuse his behaviour, and emphasiing he was not far away.

What a wanker

My parents like music from 70s 80s and 90s

That generations music is always on tv and radio

I've herd it all before...

Even classical music gets on my nerves because "contempory classical" music exists and everyone is still obsessed by Beethoven and motzart. It's pretentious.

I don't like anything I've herd a million times before in the last 30 years.

Hip hop is shit. Especially now because they just mumble.

It all just annoys me so I listern to ambient tracks and 90s-now club music or ambient background tracks from video games.

There and to the left a bit

God loads that make me reach for the off button...

The Final Countdown - Europe (unimaginative euro rock)

The Best - Tina Turner (no it's not it's the worst!!)

Drops Of Jupiter - Train (boring)

Winds Of Change - Scorpions (see Europe)

Cotton Eyed Joe - Red Nex (Just no!!)

Anything by Nickelback (dull, boring MOR crap)

Most Stock, Aitken and Waterman (set the scene for Cowell and his lot)

Anything X Factor related (mostly drivel)

Driving In My Car - Madness (nursery rhyme song that undermines their otherwise excellent catalogue)

Prince Charming and anything that followed it - Adam & The Ants (he was good before he went pantomime)

I could go on, and accept that taste is subjective but all of the above grind on me

You know the sound bank in music is huge, different sounds, different creativity in arrangements of each sound elements, hence why every genre is unique in its own way.

At the end of the day its the artist that put their imagination in to the track.

You said it, its talent no matter how good or bad, now I'm thinking you must have had a bad experience listening to grime.

I need a dollar - Allo Black (if that's how you spell his name. Especially that bit where it gets really slow as he whines "Maybe it's inside the bottle..." Like someone is running a cheese grater slowly across my face.)

A lot of modern Grime. Don't get me wrong, there's a few stand out tracks I like. And the original early pioneers such as Kano, Dizzie Rascal et all, most of their tracks sound decent to me. But this whole lark of making the rhyming bar the SAME FUCKING line contains no lyrical talent whatsoever (eg; "We roll side by side, can't take us when we're side by side, M25 and we're side by side, M25 we ride, ride ride ride...) and don't get me started on sodding autotune.

Anything by fucking DRAKE. As above, autotuned to hell, also no variety in his pitch as it's intoned in a single note the whole way through and one that sounds like he's just get out of bed and can't really be arsed to even be in the studio. Total shite.

Not denying she can sing but her choice of what to sing is shite. Porn disguised as rubbish pop.

I generally love music, but Blue by Eifel 65... is probably the most annoying waste of vibrating air that there's ever been.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I`m going to make a lot of you say "Who???"

My ex-girlfriend is a distant relation to Robert Fripp (King Crimson and husband to Toyah Wilcox). Being old enough to remember that area but strangely not any King Crimson tracks I went on a search. Found loads of Curved Air (Vivaldi is brilliant!), Atomic Rooster and others, them finally found a King Crimson track. It was AWFUL!!! I reckon you would have to be on the naughty substances to enjoy KC`s music!!!
