Being a cheeky twat picking something out of a profile either gets us chatting or told to feck off lol

There's two ways I find either be full on or just be complimentary.

Personally I somethink women prefer the more respecable approach ... But I may be wrong ???????

There and to the left a bit

I get you on the cold and clinical way sending unsolicited messages *feels* OP and how awkward it seems - so much so I've only ever sent 6 of that sort of message in the 3 years I've been here.

There is no magic formula that works for everyone though different recipients like different approaches and the key is finding the one that works for that individual - a fairly generic example would be to introduce yourself, pick some things out of the recipients profile to comment on, ask them to take a look at yours and say you'd be open to chatting more if they like what they see, no need to mention meets or anything with a first message, save that for once you've established a connection.

Often though before your message even gets read, people will look at your profile and see if they like the look of it, you've not asked for profile advice so I can't offer any, but take a look at yours and ask yourself does it sell you well, would you want to meet you if you received a message from you?

Remember also that cold messaging isn't the only approach available and if you find it's not working for you, as I did, consider other approaches you could use, like getting more involved in the forums or chat rooms, or getting along to group socials or clubs which are all great ways to get to know people and them to know you.

""I know I'm not retweet but he's not around and I am, so let's chat until the sky turns blue velvet and we laugh like we that summer in our minds""

Obviously fix the typos
