How do you block certain people from visiting your profile. I've tried the preference section but still being viewed by men who hold no interest for me

You can't stop them looking. You can stop them appearing in your views and stop them messaging you by blocking their messages.

You can only block messages... And anyway, why do you care if you are being viewed or your pictures fabbed by men?

My OH isn't interested in males but he isn't bothered if / when his pictures get fabbed by males!

People I'm not interested in look at me all the time. Not just on Fab, everywhere. They make icky comments and stare and all sorts.

It's just part of being in the world. Some might say it's a compliment. You're desirable. Turn that frown upside down!

If you set your filters to not looking for men, they won't appear in your "Looked At Me" but they will still be able to view you - the only way to stop someone looking at you completely is to block them on an individual basis.

Question being why would you want to stop them looking at you, so long as they're not causing you problems? What's the harm in looking? Doesn't necessarily mean they want to jump your bones, might be for any number of reasons.

If you have something on your profile you're embarrassed people seeing .. don't have it on there

Block men as suggested and then you won't know men have viewed and it's no problem

I do get what you’re saying OP. You set up a profile to attract a certain type of person but when you look at your ‘who looked me’ list, hardly any of them fit... I suppose if you think of yourself as a celebrity who can’t control who his fans are.... My advice is, don’t check that list!

How is your "Looked At Me" relevant to your search though? Think of it this way, they looked at you, they didn't message, they didn't wink, (they might have wanked but you'll never know) so they're not interested, or were having a look at you off the back of a forum post, or were checking to see if you were bi or straight - whatever reason it's irrelevant unless they messaged or winked you.

As has already been said, set your filters to not interested in Single Men, and they'll stop appearing in your "Looked At Me" if it really bothers you that much, but be prepared for your "Looked At Me" count to plummet - a lot of people look at you in ninja mode and you'll never know.
